Painted on 4/6/07. This is the most unique painting in the single canvas series and is done on a 20 X 24 canvas. I was in the process of using up all old handloaded ammo before sending my rifle to George at GA Precision for a rebuild. I had already used up my normal painting loads, with Nosler ballistic tips, and used a load with Hornaday 165gr SST's instead. I shoot clockwise starting with the top left corner. The first shot produced the normal laser patterning of paint. Second shot went misty, oh well, but, when i was adjusting for shot three, I saw that shot two had fragmented, & balloon three was throwing strings of paint. I almost stopped right there and called it a ruined canvas, instead, balloon three still had paint in it, so i shot and had minimal laser type paint spread. Balloon four went misty again. In all the paintings done, there had never been such results and it took many months of viewing before we loved one another. Now it is my favorite single panel painting that I intend to keep.
