Spacescape 2 is close to being completed.  It was painted with six strokes from my 20 vartarg.  Breaking from the established formula that was developed in the Multi-brushstroke Series was a surprise to me, but this painting is spectacular.  Spacescape 1 is still in process, and should be finished in a couple of weeks.  Sarah has been doing some interesting painting and highlighting before and after my range painting sessions, we hope you will like it.  Evolving from Multi-brushstroke to Spacescape is making me slow down in this whole process, now, the painting is finished when it is finished.  Spacescape 2 did not need any strokes from my .308.  Our new pattern is to do a couple of brushstrokes and bring in the canvas for drying.  We have found it more relaxing to paint in the evening instead of before range opening.

We will be taking some time off for a team flying workshop with iQuad.  http://www.revkites.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=2194

Look for Spacescape 1 and 3 in the near future, and we should be able to post Spacescape 2 before the workshop.

Our webmaster, Ed Vinyard, would like for me to be myself a little more, in this blog.  He would like to find a little more behind the scenes stories and descriptions of how we do these paintings.  He is of the opinion that in an effort to not offend the gunphobes, I am depriving you of some interesting stories.  He figures that the phobic will eventually turn off when they learn that the painting involves firearms, so why not offend them at the start, and share with you these stories.  What do you want, please chime in.
